
Chrisilia Philiastides is a Production Officer of the Nicosia Municipal Theatre/ Nicosia International Festival.
She is a cultural producer and arts professional with expertise in event curation, project management, and cultural programming.
She holds a Master of Science in Arts and Cultural Management from the Burgundy School of Business, France, and a Joint Honours Master of Arts degree in Business Management and History of Art from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. With a lifelong passion for art, cultivated through her own painting endeavours, she is driven to leverage the arts for social impact, aligning with initiatives that inspire positive change and community development.
Her work focuses on creating accessible cultural experiences that engage and connect diverse audiences. Her experience includes curating exhibitions and auctions in Scotland and Cyprus, working as a Museum Educator at The Hunterian Art Gallery, and contributing to artistic initiatives through VISTO art consultancy and Xarkis NGO.
Previously, she worked as a Collections and Sales Associate at Art100, curating digital collections and facilitating art sales. Currently, she serves as Production Officer for the Nicosia International Festival and the Nicosia Municipal Theatre, as well as the Content Creation and Production Officer for Nicosia’s bid to become the European Capital of Culture 2030.
