On the occasion of Spain’s National Day, the Embassy of Spain in Cyprus proudly presents Ecos de España, a concert that celebrates the richness, passion, and colors of Spanish culture through music. The event will take place on October 7 at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre (6:30 p.m.).
Charismatic soprano Mariza Anastasiades, together with acclaimed guitarist Socrates Leptos, percussion virtuoso Natasa Hadjiandreou, and multi-instrumentalist Dimitris Yiasemides on flute and trombone, bring to life a vibrant program that bridges tradition and modernity, lyricism and rhythm.
From Manuel de Falla and Ruperto Chapí to the songs of Federico García Lorca, along with beloved Latin American melodies such as Alfonsina y el Mar and Serrat’s Mediterráneo, this concert is an evocative journey into the soul of Spain.
