Stella Mourettou

Stella Mourettou is the Press & Communications Officer of the Nicosia Municipal Theatre/ Nicosia International Festival. She is a graduate of the Department of Communication and Media of the University of Athens (BA) and Middlesex University (Master of Arts in Media and Public Relations). She has worked as a journalist in various media, writing reports and articles for all sectors of activity. For 16 years she worked at the first business magazine in Cyprus, where she gained expertise in writing articles on Cypriot businesses, and in recent years she served as Editor-in-Chief. She was also awarded first prize in three journalism competitions.

She then worked at the Nicosia Municipality's Press & Communication Office (under the mayoralty of Constantinos Yiorkadjis), until she was assigned the position of Marketing & Communication Officer at Nicosia For Art, a subsidiary of the Nicosia Municipality. More recently she contributed to the research for Nicosia's bid to become the European Capital of Culture 2030.

She is the author of a novel and edits publications by other authors. She is also a teacher and lifelong student of the Aeizon Pyr Qi Gong System.
