Sotos Charalambous

Sotos Charalambous is a sound engineer and audio technician of the Nicosia Municipal Theatre/ Nicosia International Festival. 

He studied Music Technology and Acoustics at the Higher Technological Educational Institute of Crete, in Rethymno. Over the years, he has worked as a concert technician, sound engineer, and stage manager for various companies, music venues, and theatres, as well as a freelancer.

He has also served as the technical supervisor and sound engineer for the bands Monsieur Doumani and Nābu Pēra. In addition, he has contributed as a technician and sound engineer to opera performances, musical theatre productions, and concerts. His work includes sound mixing for Antonis Antoniou’s albums Kkismettin and Throisma.
Since 2008, Sotos has been volunteering as a sound engineer for environmental festivals, concerts, charity events, and other community initiatives.
